Relationship & Premarital Coaching

Dating, engagement and the questions worth asking before marriage.

The best time to learn how to handle conflict is before you are in a serious one. Whether you are dating with intention, newly engaged, or recovering from a relationship that ended badly, this is the work of choosing well and building on something solid.

Who it is for

You will recognise yourself here

None of these need to apply exactly. If one is close enough that you nodded, that is enough to start a conversation.

  • Engaged couples who want more than a one-day wedding conversation
  • Dating couples deciding whether to go further
  • Singles who keep repeating the same relationship pattern
  • Anyone rebuilding confidence after a painful ending

What you work through

Inside relationship coaching

Not a syllabus we impose — a set of themes we move between depending on what you bring.

  1. The conversations most couples skip

Money and debt, children and timing, faith and practice, in-laws and boundaries, career and location, sex and expectations. We work through them properly, before they become surprises.

  2. How you each handle conflict

You will have your first structured disagreement in a safe setting and learn what each of you does under pressure. Far better to find out now.

  3. Family patterns you carry

Everyone brings a template from the home they grew up in. We identify what you want to keep, and what you have quietly decided to do differently.

  4. Deal-breakers and honest compatibility

Not every gap can be closed with love and effort. We help you tell the difference between a difference to work with and a mismatch to respect.

  5. Recognising your own pattern

For singles: what keeps repeating, what part of it is yours, and what to do differently — without turning it into self-blame.

Questions

About relationship coaching

Something not covered? Ask us — there is no obligation attached to a question.

Do you offer a premarital programme with a certificate?
We provide a completion letter on request, which some officiants and religious bodies ask for. Tell us when you book if you need one, and we will confirm what we can issue for your officiant's requirements.
Can I come alone if I am single?
Yes. A good portion of our one-to-one work is with people who are not currently in a relationship — preparing well, healing after heartbreak, or breaking a pattern before it repeats.
How far before the wedding should we start?
Three to six months gives you room to actually practise what you learn. If your date is closer than that, come anyway — a compressed version is better than none.
What if the coaching surfaces something serious?
Then it has done its job. It is far better to discover a hard truth now than five years in. We will hold that conversation carefully and without pushing you toward any particular outcome.
