The Peaceful Couples Programme
A structured six-week course in de-escalation and repair.
Our most practical programme, and the one to choose if conflict is the main problem. Six structured sessions, each teaching one specific skill you practise at home during the week. Less insight, more technique — for couples who already understand the problem and want to know what to do in the moment.

Who it is for
You will recognise yourself here
None of these need to apply exactly. If one is close enough that you nodded, that is enough to start a conversation.
- Couples whose arguments escalate faster than either of them intends
- Partners who go silent for days after a disagreement
- Homes where children are witnessing the conflict
- Couples who have done insight-based work and now want concrete tools
What you work through
Inside peaceful couples
Not a syllabus we impose — a set of themes we move between depending on what you bring.
Week 1 — Catching it early
Learning your own escalation signals in the body, and how to name a conversation as heading downhill before it gets there.
Week 2 — The pause that works
How to take a break without it feeling like abandonment: what to say, how long, and the commitment to come back that makes a pause safe.
Week 3 — Complaining without contempt
Raising a real grievance in a way your partner can hear. We rewrite your actual recent arguments, not textbook examples.
Week 4 — Listening under pressure
Staying present when you are being criticised, and reflecting back accurately before you defend yourself.
Week 5 — Repair and re-entry
The conversation after the argument. This is the week most couples say changes things most.
Week 6 — Keeping it
Building the small weekly rhythms that keep the new pattern in place once the sessions stop.
