Family Wellness

Boundaries, money, in-laws and the culture of your home.

Some pressure on a family does not come from inside the couple at all. It comes from extended family expectations, money stress, blended-family logistics, or the slow drift of a household with no shared rhythm. This work is about the whole system your family lives inside.

Who it is for

You will recognise yourself here

None of these need to apply exactly. If one is close enough that you nodded, that is enough to start a conversation.

  • Couples under pressure from extended family or in-laws
  • Families where money conversations always end in conflict
  • Blended families working out roles, loyalty and fairness
  • Households that want to be deliberate about their culture rather than drift

What you work through

Inside family wellness

Not a syllabus we impose — a set of themes we move between depending on what you bring.

  1. Boundaries that hold without a rupture

How to protect your immediate family's decisions while keeping relationships with extended family intact. Especially relevant where culture places real weight on wider family authority.

  2. Money without a fight

Transparency, shared goals, separate and joint spending, supporting relatives, and debt. We work on the process for deciding, not on telling you what to do with your money.

  3. Blended family roles

Who disciplines whom, how loyalty binds work, and how to give a new marriage room without any child feeling displaced.

  4. Naming your family culture

What your home stands for, how you mark milestones, how you handle failure, what you will not tolerate. Families that name this drift less.

  5. Faith and practice at home

For families who want shared spiritual practice to be genuine rather than performative or coerced. Entirely optional.

Questions

About family wellness

Something not covered? Ask us — there is no obligation attached to a question.

Can we bring extended family into a session?
Sometimes, and it can be very effective — but only when everyone attends willingly and the goal is agreed in advance. We will plan it with you first.
Do you give financial advice?
No. We are not licensed financial advisers and we will not recommend products, investments or debt strategies. We work on how you two make money decisions together. For the numbers themselves, see a qualified adviser.
Our cultural expectations around family are strong. Will you understand?
Yes. We do not treat extended family involvement as a problem to be eliminated. The work is finding boundaries that respect your culture and still protect your household.
Is this useful if nothing is actually wrong?
Very. This is the programme most often chosen by families who are doing fine and want to stay that way.
