The rules of the road for using this website and booking coaching with us. Short, and written to be read.

Who these terms are with
This website is operated by FamilyBonding.org. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not, please stop using the site.
What this website is
An information site about our coaching services, plus a library of free articles and resources. Using it does not create a coaching relationship between us — that begins only when you book a session and we confirm it.
Everything published here is general information, not personal advice. Please read our coaching disclaimer, which explains what we are and are not qualified to do.
Booking, fees and cancellations
- The introductory call is free and carries no obligation. We do not take card details for it.
- Session fees are shown on each programme page. We will confirm the fee with you before your first paid session — you will never receive an invoice for an amount you have not agreed.
- We operate a sliding scale. If cost is a barrier, tell us on the intro call and we will work something out. No one is turned away for cost.
- Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or rearrange. Within 24 hours we may charge for the session, though we will always consider genuine emergencies.
- If we cancel a session, you will be offered an alternative time or a full refund for that session.
- You may stop coaching at any time, without notice and without explanation. You will not be charged for sessions you have not had.
What we ask of you
- Be honest with us. Coaching built on a partial picture wastes your money.
- Tell us if you are receiving therapy or clinical treatment, so we can work alongside it rather than across it.
- Do not record sessions without the agreement of everyone present, including your coach.
- Treat your coach with the same respect they will show you. We may end a session or a working relationship where there is abuse or threats toward our staff.
What we do not promise
We do not guarantee any outcome. Coaching depends on what both people bring and on what you do between sessions. We will be honest with you about whether it is working, including when the honest answer is that it is not.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website.

The text, illustrations and downloadable resources are ours (or licensed to us). You are welcome to:
- Read, print and share our articles for personal, non-commercial use.

- Share our resources with a friend, a family member, or someone in your congregation or community group who needs them.
Please do not:
- Republish our articles in full, or sell our resources.
- Present our material as your own, or use it in a paid programme without asking.
- Use our name or branding in a way that implies we endorse you when we do not.
If you would like to use something more extensively — for a church, school, charity or community programme — just ask us. We usually say yes.
Links to other sites
We link to external services, particularly on our get help now page. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, but we do check that the services we recommend are appropriate, and we would rather you told us if a link is broken or a service has closed.
Availability
We aim to keep this site available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or remove content at any time. If we change these terms in a way that affects existing clients, we will tell them directly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Nigeria, and any dispute will be heard by its courts. Nothing here affects statutory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
