Cookies & tracking
A short, honest account of what this website does and does not do to your browser.

The short version
This website sets no cookies. No advertising trackers, no social media pixels, no cross-site tracking, and nothing that follows you around the internet. That is also why you have not been shown a consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.
Why this matters more here than elsewhere
People arrive at this site in difficult moments, sometimes on a shared or monitored device. Every cookie we set is a trace we leave on your machine, and every consent banner is one more obstacle between you and the thing you came for. So we keep both to the minimum: currently none of the first and therefore none of the second.
What we actually load
| What | Purpose | Cookies? |
|---|---|---|
| Fonts (Inter, Poppins) | Typography | No — served from our own domain, not from Google, so no request reaches a third party |
| Server logs | Security and fault diagnosis | No cookies; IP addresses kept briefly |
What we deliberately do not use
- Advertising or retargeting pixels of any kind.
- Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn tracking pixels.
- Embedded videos that set cookies before you press play.
- Session recording, heatmaps or scroll-tracking tools.
- Anything that shares your browsing with a data broker.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, so there is no “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link to give you — there is nothing to opt out of.
Third-party pages we link to
Some links take you off this site — a booking page, a crisis helpline, a professional body. Those sites set their own cookies under their own policies, and we have no control over them. Links to external sites open in a new tab and are labelled as doing so.
Your browser controls
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and most offer a private or incognito mode that discards them when you close the window. Nothing on this site breaks if you block cookies entirely.
If you are concerned about someone else seeing what you have looked at, please read the note about covering your tracks on our get help now page — it is honest about what browser controls can and cannot hide.
If this changes
If we ever add something that sets a cookie, we will update this page and ask for your consent before it loads — not after. See our privacy policy for how we handle personal data generally, or email info@familybonding.org with any question.
