How it works
What actually happens, before you commit to anything
Deciding to talk to someone about your marriage or your parenting is the hard part. So here is the whole process in advance — what a session is like, what it costs, what stays private, and what we will not do.
The journey
Four steps, and you can stop after any of them
A clear, supportive path from your first hello to lasting change.
Step 1: Book a Free Consult
Share your story in a relaxed 20-minute call and discover whether we’re the right fit.
Step 2: Get Your Personal Plan
We design a customised roadmap around your goals, schedule, and family dynamics.
Step 3: Meet Weekly Sessions
Online or in person — focused conversations, practical exercises, and steady progress.
Step 4: Live the Transformation
Graduate with lifelong skills, a stronger bond, and a community that keeps cheering you on.
Inside a session
What the hour is actually like
It is a conversation, not an interview. Nobody takes notes on a clipboard while you talk, and there is no form to fill in first.
Your coach will ask questions, quite a lot of them, and will occasionally interrupt a pattern as it happens in the room — that is usually the most useful moment of the session. You will not be told what to do. You will be helped to see what is happening and offered specific things to try.
For couples: both of you speak, and part of your coach’s job is making sure neither of you dominates. If you arrive mid-argument, that is fine and often useful.
You will usually leave with one or two concrete things to do before the next session. Not homework in a school sense — something small and specific to try.

- 60 minutes (90-minute intensives available)
- Format:
- Secure video, or in person by appointment

What it costs
- The intro call is free. 20 minutes, no obligation, no card details.
- Then per session. Confirmed on your intro call, and listed on every programme page.
- Sliding scale. No one is turned away for cost. If the fee is the obstacle, say so on the call — it will not be awkward.
Privacy
Confidential, and honest about the limits
We would rather tell you the exceptions now than have you discover them later.
Read the privacy policyWhat stays between us
Everything you say in a session. We never use your name, your story or identifying details publicly without written permission — and we do not ask for that permission while you are still working with us.
The three exceptions
- A serious and immediate risk of harm to you or another person.
- A child or vulnerable adult at risk of harm.
- A valid court order requiring disclosure.
Wherever it is safe to do so, we will tell you before we act.
No secrets between partners
In couples work, if one of you tells your coach something individually that materially affects the work, we will encourage you to bring it into the room and support you in doing so. A coach holding one partner’s secret cannot help either of you.
Being clear
Coaching is not therapy
These are different things with different training behind them. Knowing which you need saves time and money.
| Coaching (what we do) | Therapy / counselling | |
|---|---|---|
| Looks | Forward — patterns, skills, decisions | Often backward — history, trauma, meaning |
| Treats | Nothing. We are not clinicians | Diagnosable mental health conditions |
| Best for | Stuck patterns, communication, parenting, decisions | Depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, addiction |
| Regulation | Not a regulated profession — ask any coach about their training | Licensed and regulated by professional bodies |
Coaching is not a regulated profession anywhere we operate, which is precisely why we publish our coaches’ names, qualifications and professional memberships. You should ask any coach for theirs. Ours are here.
